Most of the Girls Underground stories can be found in the young adult fantasy genre. While there are many 'real world' tales that fit, and many fictions written for either adults or younger children that also follow the plotline, the far majority are of the first mentioned category. There are also several films that fit, mostly either geared towards younger audiences, or in the horror genre (perhaps because of the wealth of female protagonists in horror movies?).

I will be cataloguing every example I have found in detail on my blog, starting with the many I have already read and seen, and hopefully eventually catching up and starting to document those I find as they happen.
